> Supported browsers and build requirements for your app.

Source: /docs/browser-support

The library targets these browser versions and later.

| Browser       | Minimum version |
| ------------- | --------------- |
| Chrome        | 111             |
| Edge          | 111             |
| Firefox       | 114             |
| Safari        | 16.0            |
| Safari on iOS | 16.0            |

Internet Explorer is not supported.

## Configure your app build

The workspace package contains TypeScript source and a Tailwind CSS theme. Your app's bundler must compile both for the browsers you support. The library does not configure your app's build targets for you.

For an app using Vite, set both JavaScript and CSS targets.

```ts title="vite.config.ts"
import { defineConfig } from 'vite'
export default defineConfig({
  build: {
    target: ['chrome111', 'edge111', 'firefox114', 'safari16'],
    cssTarget: ['chrome111', 'edge111', 'firefox114', 'safari16'],
  },
})
```

If your app uses a different bundler, configure its equivalent targets. Your app's own CSS, plugins and dependencies may require newer browsers.

## Check your screens

Test complete screens in the browsers your app supports, including form validation, keyboard navigation and overlays. Custom styles and layout can affect focus visibility, text wrapping and scrolling even when the individual components work as expected.
